Rod Paschke is the owner/outfitter of Sizzlin' S Outfitters Inc., LLC as well as a guide. Just like any outfitter, Rod enjoys the opportunity to take something that he spent countless hours doing as a kid, and turning it into one of his professions. He and his crew, including his wife, guides, cook and landowners give 100% every year to make sure that the clients at Sizzlin' S Outfitters Inc., LLC have the experience that they anticipated. After operating the business for 4 years, Rod purchased Sizzlin' S Outfitters in 2005 and continues to try to improve it every year. 

Kyle Lassle, a.k.a. “Sunshine” came on board this past fall, 2021. He has been a great addition to the team at Sizzlin S Outfitters. Hunting in eastern Montana since he was a young kid, he loves hunting anything from waterfowl to elk. He’s not afraid to burn some boot leather to find the trophy that his clients came to Montana for. Not only is he an accomplished hunter, but he will keep you entertained during the process.

Shaymus Wyman “Shay” started guiding with us in 2020 and has been a huge asset to our operation. He has guided all species in Wyoming for the past 15 years and has a vast knowledge of hunting in all terrains and conditions. His biggest passion is lion hunting as he has some of the best hounds in the business as well as a great reputation.  Make sure that you put some water and snacks in your pack before you leave for the day as he can go for miles.

Being a very avid hunter and outdoorsman, Kirk brings not only a lot of knowledge to our team, but also quite a little entertainment. He grew up with a love for the outdoors including both hunting and fishing. If he’s not guiding hunters in November, there is a pretty good chance you will find him in a goose blind, or in the summers fishing for walleyes on his favorite lake, or possibly just hiking his favorite trails in the Missouri Breaks while taking in what nature has to offer. Our clients always enjoy “Burger” not only for his ability as a top shelf guide, but also for his ability to make their hunts enjoyable and entertaining.

Riley Loen joined the SSO team in 2023 after finishing his college degree.He first went to work guiding archery mule deer and antelope hunts for Will Stovall at MillIron Outfitters in South Dakota that fall and then came over to our crew in MoHe continued to do that in 2024 and did a fine job for both of us. Not only is “Little Buddy” a good hunter/guide, he will also keep all of us entertained during the entire hunt. He has a great personality and a very strong work ethic. His long term goal is to become a Game Warden at some point as he looks forward to helping to protect the animals that he is passionate about.

JW or "Dubs" joined the Sizzlin' S team in 2025. Growing up the son of an outfitter, JW has had guiding in his blood from the beginning. No matter the season or the pursuit, JW has the knowledge and skillset to hunt any game Montana has to offer. When he isn't hunting or fishing, you can catch JW at a local roping event or at his "real job", at the local coal mine. Always willing to go the extra mile and carry the heaviest pack on the way out, JW has been and will continue to be a huge asset to Sizzlin' S.
